What is The Sift?
Mojang describes The Sift as a realm that is “vibrant, mysterious, and teeming with souls.” Unlike community mods like The Aether, The Sift is completely built by Mojang Studios as native vanilla survival endgame content.
Confirmed Biomes
- The Meadow: High-contrast, saturated landscape with reactive bioluminescent vegetation and soul pools. Native habitat of the new amphibious frog-like mob.
- The Carapace: A desert wasteland featuring massive fossilized skeletal arches and soul sand terrain.
